We’re Karaf Food & Drinks, a restaurant in the centre of Utrecht, open for both lunch and dinner.
For us, eating out is about more than good food. It’s about care, atmosphere and that feeling of stepping away from the bustle for a while. Whether you’re here for a business meeting, lunch with friends or a long evening at the table — we’ll make sure it’s right.
Everything that leaves our kitchen is prepared à la minute. Fresh, with care, and without unnecessary fuss.
Our kitchen
Our kitchen looks outward. We take inspiration from cuisines around the world and bring them together in dishes that feel familiar, but just a little different.
From meat and fish to vegetarian and vegan dishes — there’s something for everyone. We also run changing specials off the menu, depending on the season and whatever we’re excited about ourselves.

Flammkuchen – perfect for lunch in Utrecht
Our flammkuchen are one of our lunchtime favourites. These thin, crisp bases have their origins in Alsace.
At Karaf we make them our own way, with carefully chosen ingredients, always baked fresh the moment you order.
Dry-aged beef
For meat lovers we serve premium dry-aged beef. Weeks of ageing give it more flavour and tenderness.
Cocktails & wine
We make our cocktails in house, from classics to our own creations.
